Taking the train to Givors. The recommendation was to take the train instead of biking, since there was a short section on a very busy road. Then we biked from the Givors train station to Vienne. | |

| | | | | | Picnicing on the way to Vienne. Right after this, there was a beautiful park with benches. |

| | | | However, we would have missed this water snake! You can see his head by the larger rock. | | I think this ruin is the Château-fort de Seyssuel |

| | | | | | Waiting around for the apartment to be available. |

| | | | The view from our apartment | | And...the other side |

| | | | On the way from Vienne to Serrieres - great trail day, almost all separated bike paths. | |

| | | | Another nuclear power plant - Saint-Alban Nuclear Power Plant | | Looking a little goofy, but I don't burn my face, nor do I get bugs in my eyes. |
| |
| | | | A kids camp was doing some kayak games nearby where we had lunch. | | Wheat silos, I imagine. |
| |
| | | | | | Our apartment in Serrieres. |

| | | | | | We met these two British ladies in a cafe, they showed us their Bromptons folding bikes, which they absolutely loved. |

| | | | At the Musée des Mariniers du Rhône - mariners of the Rhone. It was a disappointing museum, we were done in 15 minutes (going at a very slow pace). | | This is a model of the sport of "jousting" in a boat, which is (maybe was?) big here. |

| | | | Peter had an itch to go up high and get a good view, so we did. He went even further up... | | | | | | | |
